The courses offered at Atlantis Academy are designed for educational excellence for every student. Our personalized academic approach ensures that students work on materials at the level at which they can be appropriately challenged and experience success. Our program is designed to meet individual student needs and learning styles, combining blending learning with differentiated and direct instruction approaches. This flexibility in curriculum and instruction are some of the reasons why so many of our students go on to lead successful lives.

Atlantis Academy Palm Beaches remains committed to using our highly effective teaching strategies, tools and curriculum including our SRA Reading program and Saxon Math. We have decided to strengthen our program with other research-based tools. Here are some of the exciting new programs at Atlantis Academy Palm Beaches:

PBIS: PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. SWPBS stands for School Wide Positive Behavioral Supports. PBIS is a positive, proactive approach to dealing with behavior. Students are given a clear set of expectations based upon behavioral goals chosen by the staff and administration. The PBIS motto that highlights our school expectations at Atlantis Academy Palm Beaches is “In our School Family, We are Kind, Safe, Respectful and Responsible.” Learn more at 

STAR Math and Reading Assessments: According to the Renaissance Learning website, STAR is by far the most widely used reading assessment in K12 schools. Educators get valid, reliable, actionable data in about 15 minutes. Please check out STAR math and reading assessments at

Lexia Learning: Lexia provides explicit, systematic, personalized learning on foundational reading skills for students of all abilities, and delivers norm-referenced performance data and analysis without interrupting the flow of instruction to administer a test. This research-proven, technology-based approach accelerates reading skills development, predicts students’ year-end performance and provides teachers data-driven action plans to help different iate instructioh. I XL Math: According to their website,”IXL is not just about helping your kids learn math or language arts, it’s also about helping them enjoy learning. That means encouraging them to have fun! Atlantis Academy’s math programs consist of Touch Math and Saxon Math. Touch Math is a multisensory math program utilizing touch points for students of varying abilities and learning styles. Touch Math covers concepts ranging from basic counting to pre-algebra. Saxon Math provides students the foundational skills / building blocks of problem solving using a hands-on approach. Saxon Math includes daily practice, integrated curriculum, frequent cumulative assessments and engaging activities. High school students are offered courses in consumer math, pre-algebra, algebra I, algebra II and geometry.



Science and Social Studies

Students at Atlantis Academy enjoy a hands-on approach to both science and social studies. Experiments, creative projects, nature explorations and educational field trips are all integrated into the curriculum.

Atlantis Academy currently offers Spanish I and II to the high school level students. The goal of this course is to assist students in becoming proficient in reading, writing, and conversation of the Spanish language.

Atlantis Academy offers elective courses to students at all grade levels. The courses offered include computer technology, physical education/health, yearbook and art.
