Intramural Sports

Atlantis Academy offers an intramural sports program after school for all age groups.  The sports include basketball, flag football, softball, etc. 


Dance Club

There is a an after school program for those interested in dance where the students learn hip hop routines and perform at various events throughout the year.


Open House/Orientation

 An opportunity for students and parents to meet their teachers is held each year prior to the first day of school.


Fall Festival/Carnival


             This event takes place during the month of October with a Halloween theme.  Activities include costume contest, haunted house, hay ride, bounce house, pumpkin and face painting, and an assortment of  carnival games.

 

 

Thanksgiving Luncheon

Students, parents, grandparents and teachers all share in a wonderful holiday lunch complete with turkey and pumpkin pie. The students do projects and prepare a program to entertain. It is a special day that students and families look forward to each year.


Winter Exhibition Night

Each year just before the winter break from school students have an opportunity to show their family projects that they have worked on in the classroom as well as entertain them with their talents. It is an evening enjoyed by all.

Winter Dance

After returning to class after winter break a fun social event starts the New Year.


Valentine's Day Dance

A fun-filled evening event for all students. Elementary grades enjoy dancing and food earlier in the evening while high school students enjoy time later in the evening with their friends.


Award Ceremony

Kindergarten through eleventh grade students receive honor roll and other awards each marking period. Parents are encouraged to attend.


Annual Spelling Bee

Each year students in grades K-8 are encouraged to participate in our school-wide spelling bee.  The top two winners go on to compete at the next level for the county.  It is a great opportunity for students to gain confidence and enhance their self-esteem.


Field Day

Field day is held each year for all grade levels.  This event involves a barbeque lunch and outdoor competitive events such as relay races, long jump, broad jump, obstacle course, tug of war, water relays, basketball, balloon toss, bowling pin knockdown, and much more.

Senior Class Graduation

Each year a graduation ceremony is held for our graduating seniors. It is a time of pride for our students progressing from high school to the next phase of their lives.
