 Q: What is the student to teacher ratio at Atlantis Academy?
A:  The average ratio is 15:1

Q:  What grade levels are offered at Atlantis Academy?
A:   Atlantis offers Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Q: What are the school hours?
A:  The Spectrum program’s school day is from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
      The Foundations and Traditional Programs’ school days are from
      8:10 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Q: Do you accept transfers in the middle of the school year?
A: Yes.  We have open enrollment and accept students at any point
     during the year.  Many of our students come to us during the school
     year from learning environments that didn’t allow them to reach
     their potential. We have a history of helping these students turn
     their lives around and achieve academic success.

Q:Is Atlantis Academy accredited?
A: Atlantis Academy is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on
     Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI), an accrediting division of AdvancED.

Q: Can my child earn an accredited high school diploma from Atlantis Academy?
A: Yes.  Students at Atlantis Academy can earn an accredited high school diploma.  Each year, many of our
     students earn a high school diploma and enroll in community colleges, universities and vocational
     schools.  Students are also permitted to dual enroll with the local community college while attending Atlantis
     Academy with teacher/administration approval.

Q: Does Atlantis Academy offer extracurricular activities?
A: Atlantis Academy offers an athletic program that includes flag football, boys/girls basketball and a dance
    group that meet after school.

Q: Does Atlantis Academy offer Before and After Care Services?
A: The before school care program starts at 7:00 a.m. and the after program is provided until 6:00 p.m. on every
     full day of school.

Q: Does Atlantis Academy offer tutoring services?
A:  Atlantis Academy offers both individual tutoring and group sessions for all subject areas, as well as SAT.

Q: What types of students attend Atlantis Academy?
A: Atlantis Academy works with many different students. We treat all students as individuals
     and see all students benefit from our approach. Some of our students are struggling with an
     emotional issue as well as a learning challenge. Atlantis Academy seeks to help students overcome both.
